The Flames go Blading

The Flames go Blading

23 February 2011

The a451 Team have decided to do something different this spring; the challenge is to get everyone active and confident on roller blades.  All training will be taking place in various venues in the surrounding areas over the next few months in preparation for the 'big challenge' Goodwood Roller Marathon on the 14th August.

Goodwood Roller Marathon is a charity race around the historic Goodwood Motor Circuit. Skaters of all abilities and styles will participate in one of four races of 5, 12, 26 or 53 miles. It is a great family day out as well as being the largest roller race in the UK and a perfect introduction to distance events. To encourage all racers there will be microchip timing of the laps as well as a medal for all.

Last year the a451 team completed a the Chichester corporate challenge, sea-kayaking course and will be doing a charity skydive in May as well, never a dull moment at a451!
