There was much surprise and excitement on Pip’s face on Friday 29^th of July as she came into the office at 8am. Walking through the doors she saw a cheeky grin from David as he slipped away from her desk and as she rounded the corner she realized why. Piled high on her desk and overflowing onto the floor was a mass of balloons with this writing on the balloon’s sides -

‘Now you’re 21!’

Yes, we had a birthday here at the office last week. Our Search Executive and in-house proof reader/copywriter Pip Norman, turned the impressive 2-1!

With this big birthday came an array of celebrations including lunch with all the office at a fantastic Thai restaurant. Before tasting Thai, a type of food she had never tried before but has subsequently decided to like, she managed a solid morning of work which was frequently interrupted by Carla picking up the balloons which were falling onto the floor and helpfully placing them in a pile in front of the screens so Pip couldn’t work!

The balloons were built up high on her desk alongside the lovely bottle of wine she received from the staff and the flowers from her husband.

And she wore a happy grin as a clear indication of the great day Pip had thanks to the birthday spirit in the office and the generosity of all the staff, so she’d like to say and massive ‘THANK YOU!’ to David, Carla and everyone else for giving her a brilliant birthday!
