The Chichester Workplace Cycle Challenge was a competition designed to encourage it's participants to remember how good it is to ride a bike.
Running for three weeks from Monday 7th June to Sunday 27th June 2010, the aim was to encourage as many colleagues as possible to ride a bike for just 10 minutes throughout the competition. Through cycling to work, meetings or for pleasure the cycle challenge was a great opportunity to get back on a bike.
The challenge took place with 6 categories - there were 36 organisations with 183 departments registered. Overall, 1,038 people took part with 137 of these having not cycled for over a year.
