Brighton SEO Conference

12 September 2011

It was a miseraBrighton SEO Conferenceble British morning that saw the a451 team at the station on their way to the exciting Brighton SEO Conference on Friday the 9th of September.

The Brighton SEO conference is an event which hosts a variety of speakers from a multitude of different companies and with different areas of expertise. It is one of several SEO conferences available and the a451 team took full advantage! It was an early start, catching the train at 7:30am, but we were all thankful for a cup of hot coffee on arrival at the Brighton Dome in the Corn Exchange.

The conference was buzzing with many faces both familiar and new. There were sponsor talks from different companies who also had stalls behind the stage for the coffee breaks. These sponsor talks interspersed the conference talks which were twenty minute snap-shots on certain aspects of the industry, new ideas and analysis on google.

Talk titles included – Google’s Panda: A Case Study, Building a Private Blog Network, How to win at SEO with Duplicate Content: Featuring Pippa Middleton, Attracting Links and Choosing and Implementing Friendly URLs for Ecommerce, to name a few. Kelvin Newman was a great host, forever keeping the audieBrighton SEO Conferencence amused with his joking and microphone antics and everyone seemed in a work-focused yet fun mood.

With lunch as a team in the midday break we had a good time discussing the talks and the ideas which had come out of them over a Caesar Salad and Eggs Benedict! As the day drew to a close, in a typically British fashion the sun came out in full force which put a great end on a great day. So, it’s Monday morning and we are returned to the office with notepads full and heads buzzing with all the SEO ideas that the free Brighton SEO conference has created!
